Lake Forest High School has basically been my home away from home for my four years I have been here now. I love all of my teachers and fellow students at the high school and I love the overall feel of it. I believe that Lake Forest has prepared me for college in the best way possible, providing me with all of the resources to succeed. This includes excellent teachers, AP classes, and counselors who want to see you do great things. While Lake Forest does not have the best technology available or the best facilities, or the best food, it still feels like home to me. My parents and brother graduated from this high school and my mom even works there as a French teacher. All of my friends go to Lake Forest and that's a huge reason why I love to go to school. Even though Lake Forest doesn't have the best food or technology/facilities, the people who work and go there are amazing. This is the main reason why I rate Lake Forest High School as excellent.
Lake Forest High school contained a small student body lacking in diversity, with average academics, new but somewhat limited AP opportunities, excellent food and a decent amount of extra curricular activities for students to participate in. However, all of the above topics are sub-par in comparison to surrounding districts such as Caesar Rodney High School and Dover High School.
