The teachers at Lake Country Lutheran High School try their best to give each student a high quality education by taking time to understand their students and how they can effectively better their learning and teaching techniques by questioning students on how they felt on how the subjects lessons were taught. In my experience, the teachers are very approachable and they enjoy interacting with students and sharing their information within the classroom, so their students have a better understanding of their subjects. The staff/teachers/coaches go above and beyond to find an interest within their students, which leads to fabulous communication skills between other teachers and students, creating a unique and united school body. Every teacher I have had, follows the same grading scale they have followed in the years before, unless they were made to change it due to higher authority or an addition to the curriculum.
Review Lake Country Lutheran High School
Lake Country Lutheran is a great school if you are looking for rigorous academics. At my school, the teachers do not want you slacking off. They want you to excel but want you to earn it. The favorite part of my school though would have to be the teacher student relationships. Every school says they have these type of relationships, but nothing like Lake Country Lutheran. The fact I can go into a classroom whenever and have a complete heart to heart with a teachers makes everything better. Lake Country Lutheran is based off being connected, we are all connected here. The one thing I would change though is the lack of diversity in class scheduling. We have terrific classes, don't get me wrong. But I would have preferred more English/ writing classes over all the math and science ones.
I completed my freshmen and sophomore years at Lake Country Lutheran High School. Then my junior year, I wanted to step out and create experiences, so I attended Oconomowoc High School, and the Virtual Academy of Wisconsin. My senior year, I am deciding to go back to Lake Country Lutheran, because I missed the great student/teacher atmosphere. One of my favorite experiences from Lake Country Lutheran was finals week from my freshmen year, because their were senior students helping freshmen and sophomores study for their finals by testing them with flashcards or just giving them easier explanations to their questions. It just amazed me and really helped me relax during my first finals. I think what makes it so unique is that when you get to know everyone you feel a sense of pride going there, because everyone really cares for each other and it has a caring atmosphere, while it is very competitive, pushing everyone to do their best. If I could do it all over again, I would go back to Lake Country Lutheran because after attending all the schools I wanted to experience, I found that I really found a comfortable place where I loved to learn and enjoyed coming to everyday.
