My experience at Lake Charles College Prep has been pretty good. It’s not really a bad school just kinda wish I was able to experience a real highschool experience but it’s been a good run for these past years. What I like about the school is our school spirit when it comes to supporting the students in any kind of way, the people are always there. It’s a great feeling to have so many people support us even through the bad times. Giving us motivation to keep going and pushing to do our very best no matter what. If I was to change something about my school it would be the food and just a few things but overall the experience was worth it and can’t wait to see what is more to come as I continue on my journey as a highschool senior.
For me College Prep is a good school. It has its ups and downs with trying to learn there but it’s ok. Academics wise we are a C school and the learning environment is pretty decent. College Prep is not very diverse which always seemed to bother me sometimes. I’m taking classes to get me ready for college since I’m a Junior so I feel like help is provided. The main problem with College Prep is that it is very unorganized with can get frustrating.
I love the diversity and how teachers come together to make education happen. Also, the the fact that the teachers go out of their way to help a student. I feel the teachers really make the school exciting and always have you coming you back for something new to learn. Our principal, I have noticed, is really trying to get to know us all. He really tries to solve all the problems going around and so far hes been doing an amazing job. Now, some problems I wish would’ve been resolved a long time ago would be staff being consistent. There’s so many that leave and we have to adjust to someone new, at times it can get very frustrating. Other than that our school is amazing and is doing an amazing job.
