I liked that Laguna Creek High School is so diverse. Through diversity I was able to better understand other cultures more closely. I thought that it was great that Laguna Creek High School has the IB program that benefits many students, and it helps students get ahead. The teachers at Laguna Creek were always willing to help their students and seemed to truly care! An improvement I would like to see would be the food because it is not very appetizing, and students need to eat a balanced meal to be able to focus and thrive throughout the day.

I graduated in 2016 and my experience at Laguna Creek High was great. In terms of academics, the school has an excellent International Baccalureate (IB) program that prepares the student for college work when enrolled. I took a few courses such as IB math, and IB chemistry, and I would say these classes helped me learn a lot and excel in my college algebra and general chemistry course.
Secondly, the location of the school is very safe. Throughout my high school life, I did not have to put up with gun-shooting or other forms of violent crimes that are currently going on. Elk Grove, where the school is situated, is safe city that is ultimately conducive to the students learning and high academic performance.
Laguna Creek High School is the only school in the district that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. We also have three world languages and many art programs. Our extracurriculars, academies and student government teams are effective in making newcomers welcome and enjoy the cardinal spirit. LCHS is also known to be the most diverse within the district!
