Though my graduating class was excluded from the CAHSEE exam, we were the guinea pigs of all the other years. My freshman year, my class was on terms but starting sophomore year, the teachers decided (without student opinion) to switch to a block schedule. This doubled the school work for us, as students but made it easier for teachers, who (may I remind you) weren't the ones trying to graduate! I'm going to add that they cared more about the sports students than their IB students. The Sports Career Academy funded free trips for their students to go canoeing, skiing, and not to mention, the whole day trip to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It's embarassing to even say that I attended Laguna Creek, in all honestly. Other than that though, I wanna thank my senior teachers, Mr. Hanf and Mr. Norman! They are the purest souls there and I wish them long and happy lives.

This high school is very nice because it has a lot of diversity, with many different students of various races, cultures, and religions. The campus allows students to explore their various interests with different classes (including electives), sports, or clubs. There is a wide variety of clubs such as community service based clubs, clubs incorporating hobbies like playing video games or gardening, or culture clubs, like Hmong or Japanese. Laguna Creek High School also provides students with the opportunity to challenge themselves academically with the IB program, an internationally recognized curriculum.
I just started attending Laguna Creek High School as a freshman student, and it has been a really great experience so far! There are so many clubs or extracurricular activities, and I'm always busy doing something everyday afterschool. The best part is getting to go to school plays, musicals, competitions, dances, and so much more fun events!
