When reading and looking over these comments I’m honestly appalled, who are writing these, Teachers, parents, administration? When attending Laguna Creek on the first a couple weeks of school we witnessed 3 shooting threats, as a person that’s insane way to be welcome into this school. My counselor however even mad it worse for me, we asked my classes it was always something, when telling I was going to fail, she proceeds to tell me what can I do? I’m missing graduation credits, now and having to take online classes. Now let’s get into IB, it’s the worse program ever. Now why would you have a harder program, than AP. Mind you IB does not offer the same classes as AP, these include Computer Science Principles, Statistics and more. IB honestly doesn’t make any since, mind you SOME IB CLASSES DON’T EVEN COUN TO YOUR COLLEGE!

BOOM! Just like that and the school year was over. I just felt like the school year has just started. I just started to get to know my teachers and new friends. Even though I never participated in school events due to outside sport Los activities I felt like I was at home on campus. Everyday walking past students I didn’t really know but knew their familiar faces . It was the same routine every other day due to even and odd classes, after the last bell rang there were just clusters of people together and people running and walking to the gates to go hangout or go home. But I stayed behind because my mom was always late to pick me up because she was always so busy. Everyday all the staffs were so kind to me and my sister, they were also very welcoming to there classrooms, that’s why it felt like home. The spirit in classrooms or the sports field made this school feel like home. I would say my experience at Laguna Creek High school was a blast and a success.
Though my graduating class was excluded from the CAHSEE exam, we were the guinea pigs of all the other years. My freshman year, my class was on terms but starting sophomore year, the teachers decided (without student opinion) to switch to a block schedule. This doubled the school work for us, as students but made it easier for teachers, who (may I remind you) weren't the ones trying to graduate! I'm going to add that they cared more about the sports students than their IB students. The Sports Career Academy funded free trips for their students to go canoeing, skiing, and not to mention, the whole day trip to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It's embarassing to even say that I attended Laguna Creek, in all honestly. Other than that though, I wanna thank my senior teachers, Mr. Hanf and Mr. Norman! They are the purest souls there and I wish them long and happy lives.
