My experience at Lagrange High School was all around a great experience. Throughout all 4 years of high school I can say I learned a lot from friendships to life lessons. Overall the school itself is great! My school is the only Performing Arts school and is the very best at it . Most of the students there have amazing talents and we have a lot of extracurricular activities for that. I join H.O.S.A which is a nursing program where you learn all about to medical industry and more. We have a club called Link Crew which help the incoming freshman's get to where they need to go and give them a tour around the whole campus. We also have an amazing Band Auxiliary I danced for 1 year and found myself having a passion for it with the love of my coaches and dance sisters. After being involved with lots of things at school I’ve came to the realization that my high school years where the best and I’m very glad i got to experience it at an amazing high school.
I think Lagrange is a great school with great academics. Only some things need improvement such as parent connectivity and college readiness. Students should be more prepared for college and should be talked to about college extensively. A lot will fall on the parents but as the academic advisors to students more needs to be done. When it comes to the counselors office improvement needs to be made. If I have to email over and over and over again just to get an answer something is wrong. I do believe though academically and extracurricular wise is pretty good.
Lagrange High School has very qualified teachers who really strive to educate the kids. The school also tries to engage the students with many activities and rewards for their accomplishments. The students are also very advanced and excelling in tests recently. However there are some kids who seem to only attend the school because they have to and to cause a uproar although, that can be said about any school.
