Lafayette High School Reviews

I loved going to Lafayette. Most of the teachers I had were great and made it easy to learn. The teachers were always there to help with anything I needed. In all four years that I was there I only had one teacher that I didn't like. They had good opportunities for college credit classes, which I took advantage of in my senior year. I loved the flexibility that I was able to have in my senior year schedule. I had completed all of my credits and I was able to have an online class and I was able to remove a class out of my schedule too. This allowed me to leave school up to and hour and a half early every single day of my senior year, which was a big help in opening up my work schedule to save up for college. Our school activities were well planned out. I enjoyed every school dance and football game with my friends. Lafayettes wide variety of classes allowed me to further develop and pursue my love for art as well.
Overall, Lafayette is a really great school. It puts a huge focus on academics as well as athletics. Our students are welcoming, smart, and charismatic in many ways. Lafayette also has a wonderful staff with caring teachers! The only thing Lafayette could put more of a focus on is mental health. While the school cares for its students in regards to academics and athletics, it doesn't put enough focus on mental health as it should. This needs to change. Otherwise it's a great school, I have no regrets attending this school for the past 4 years. Proud to be a Lafayette graduate!
Lafayette High school provided me with a beautiful and very hands-on education. I participated in many various classes, some of which included Spanish, Calculus, Graphic Design, Team Sports, Physics, etc. The school also helped build a sense of unity by inviting all students to school sports games to cheer teams on and having parades and events to keep everybody engaged. Everyone also participated in some sort of club, whether it be a debate team, robotics club, or national honor society. I am very glad to have been a part of the Lafayette Lancers as it allowed me to make countless friends and gave me memories I will cherish forever.
