Attending Lafayette High School is such a good way to be ahead of your subjects than what you learn in other schools. The counselors support your decisions and are very helpful when assisting you with your school schedule for the next year. The teachers are very good at teaching and help create an understanding of what they are saying in a simple way towards where you just can’t get confused! I was personally able to make many more friends than I thought I would, being that there are so many people that attend. Overall, I can’t help but appreciate how well the school is!

Good school with amazing teachers that are determined to do their duty each day. The assistant principals are okay but they are always on students backs for the smallest things. Overall, the school is great with a great rating and you would love it there!
I believe my school, Lafayette High School, focuses more on small, irrelevant, and pointless matters, rather than the big picture: the education of the students that attend the school. The most pressing matter at my school is dress code. My school supports the narrative that a man’s education is more important than a woman’s. I’ve seen countless boys walk around school with their pants coming down below their butts. Yet, they walk to class unscathed by right ups or in-school suspension. If a woman at my school dares to walk around with shorts 6 inches above the knee, they are bombarded with so many looks and write ups; they’re even sent to the office to call home and have to stay put until their parents leave work and bring them suitable bottoms. So many girls at my school have lost valuable class time for the sake of not distracting boys with 2 extra inches of flesh above the knee. It’s unacceptable, and that’s the only reason my school is rated so poorly.
