Located at 1201 South Warson Road, Ladue Horton Watkins High School builds itself upon character and accomplishments. Rated the second best high school in Missouri and 363 in the nation, Ladue School District is known for excelling in academics as well as athletics. Not only is Ladue Horton Watkins High School known for this, they are also known for creating a welcoming atmosphere for all students. The most important lesson I learned was how to display my gifts and talents for all to see with confidence. At Ladue, each student understands diversity and celebrates each person on their ability to stand out from the crowd. After lacking in confidence for so many years, my transfer to Ladue Horton Watkins High School my freshman year was truly a blessing in disguise. Without the help of Ladue's amazing faculty and students I would not have found true happiness or become the person I am today!

Ladue Horton Watkins High School really is a great place. The students here are hardworking, diverse, friendly, and accepting. The curriculum is difficult, although plenty of students at Ladue take multiple AP classes throughout their high school career (I know several kids who are taking 9-10 by the end of their senior year.) My only issue is that although the kids here are nice, they can be a bit cliquey, so it's best to establish a friend group as soon as possible. Other than that, Ladue Horton Watkins High School is a great school!
As I begin reflect on my high school experience with only a few months left until graduation, I realize how privileged I was. Throughout my years, the district seems to be always accommodating the school so it's the best environment it can possibly be. With the seemingly unlimited resources and renovation, Ladue is an amazing high school. There is still of course some faults. There's not much spirit, barely anyone participates during spirit weeks or shows up to any events. There has also been some bad teachers. Luckily, the administration listens to the students, and usually fire poor quality teachers within reason. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at the high school and believe that Ladue is a great school.
