This school has its ups and its downs like every school does. The school does very well at pushing kids to do better and having a good relationship between teacher and student. The problem about this is that the teachers change every year. During my tenure at La Salle, we had 9 teachers leave. Which hurts the students more then anything because of the relationships formed and then disbanded within a year later, so the bond between teacher and student becomes shaky. The students at La Salle are kind, like most high school students but most of the classes (the entire class) were broken up into major cliches. So becoming a new student here can become difficult because if you do not fit into any of the groups, that have mostly been formed before going to high school, it was almost impossible to get through the school. The academics is wonderful there though and help with college and it is an easy way to earn college credits but is it worth the steep price tag?
La Salle High School was a great experience for me. The student-teacher ratio was helpful to me because I got to ask questions to my teachers and they always helped. The teachers care very much about their students and will help a student when they see that they are struggling in their class. La Salle High School is very passionate about the core values that they follow.
As a senior my favorite part about La Salle is being a service coordinator. With my crew together alone this school year semester of 2021, we were able to raise a little bit over $4,000 through fundraising we call Bolt Jolt to donate to different charities and helping the people of our community. Let alone this money isn’t just donated to help different charities, we also help provide scholarships for students who cannot afford to pay for the Immersion that they were picked to go on.
La Salle High School makes sure that every student feels welcome. I really felt that I had finally found a place where I could be me.

La Salle has a diverse academic community for all students. One of my favorite aspects was the student-coach relationship that grew throughout my years in sports. Cross country and Track had been one of the many ways I became involved with my school. Although it is a relatively small private high school, it provides a stimulating environment where any student will feel motivated to do well in classes.
