Academics are good, teachers are awesome, and they prepare you well for testing. However, certain combinations of classes is EXTREMELY stressful and the work load is insane.
Most of the teachers I have had throughout my time at LQHS have been understanding and go above and beyond what is necessary. As I have taken mostly AP/accelerated courses, the teachers have prepared me well for college level work and all the AP/IB testing.
When I was a student there, the staff and counselors were exceptionally friendly (except for a few) so I felt pretty comfortable walking around campus. Nearly all the teachers kept the same rules in their classrooms, making it easier for the students to follow the school's policies. I rarely ever saw the principle because he/she was always busy walking around campus, supervising classrooms, and dealing with issues in and out of their office constantly. He/she seemed very hard-working.
