I may not like most of the teachers, but I know that no matter where I am, I won't like some of the teachers. I am grateful for the closeness of the school community. It has helped multiple students be able to accomplish their high school career.
Overall, the teachers are pretty good, a few are still here even after several years of teaching at LaMonte, but within the last couple of years many have retired. The new faces bring new teaching techniques and are a little more willing to listen to suggestions from students. Although, the change is exciting, it is also a little overwhelming considering many students have become accustomed to our former teachers styles. I believe each teacher is well informed in the subject they teach, but at times find it difficult to show struggling students different ways to approach the problem.
