I think La mirada high school is a great school. The teachers, Security Guards, the ladies in the front office, and the counselors are so sweet and nice and amazing people! Although sometimes dress-code can be too extreme for some girls.. As a girl and I know I'm speaking for other girls when I say it is extremely frustrating when one girl gets dress-code and the you see another girl with the EXACT same thing and not get caught.I know dress-code is an all school round thing but again don't just dress code certain girls when everyone pratically wears the same thing. That being said I think The teachers at la mirada should be more appreciated because , I am truly blessed to have teachers like them. Despite the dress-code in all honestly there's no comparison from la mirada to other schools.

A lot of teachers at La Mirada High school are very passionate about what they teach the students, there are also lots of resources that are available to the students. One such resource is the college and career ready center that gives students the opportunity to research and ask questins regarding colleges or careers they are interested in. There are also plenty of clubs and extra circular activities the students can participate in, and learn responsibility. The school also provides many volunteer, and community service opportunities for the students.
La Mirada High School is pretty much just an average high school. The AP classes are hard but they get you ready for college but regular classes tend to get a little hectic since the students get a bit crazy and loud and sometimes end up disrupting those who are actually trying to learn but overall, the school is good. If I’m being completely honest, the teachers are good at what they do but the lectures could be better. Some teachers have a hard time explaining their own material!
