La Costa Canyon High school is an amazing school overall! The school spirit is great, very pretty and safe campus, super fun football games, theater department does an amazing job with their performances, I've had good experiences with teachers, and it is a wonderful community overall. Despite distance learning being a hardship to staff, teachers, and students, I believe LCC has done a great job with online classes and keeping students learning in the safety of their own homes. On the downside, there isn't a ton of diversity and the food is not the best. Other than that it is an amazing school and I really enjoyed my high school experience there!

La Costa Canyon was a phenomenal place to expand my mind and discover my passions! With the support of teachers and guidance counselors, I learned how to turn these passions into potential higher education and career tracks. La Costa Canyon allowed me to be multifaceted in my interests by providing a wide variety of extracurricular activities, clubs, electives, and required courses.
Quite unsafe. I've been pushed, hit, with the teacher 30 feet away who turned a blind eye to it. They give too many chances to people who are obviously unstable and unfit for the normal school program. The sports are great and there is a culture but it's more of a prison culture than a family. Teachers are alright (history teachers are amazing while science teachers teach very weirdly.) A lot of AP's and IB's are offered but sadly none freshman year which drops my GPA. Honors aren't weighted which is also a bummer as my GPA would also be higher and more comparable to other high schools and most other students in the country. Counselors are probably doing their best but haven't answered some of my questions and it has been 2 weeks... Groups are made based on ethnicity and fights are organized during lunch which shows the kind of environment it is.
