The coursework is very hands-on, going through the online high school was a fun and personal experience. The classes are small so many different ages and grades are mixed together. The small groups make for a very strong bond between students and staff.

My daughter attended this school for 1 year and I'm not sure if they were still in transition because of the lava but we were very disappointed in this school. The academics are below average and her reading skills were so far behind for her grade it took all summer for me and my husband to fix how behind this school had put her. There is alot of bullying that occurs with little consequences given from the staff and administration. There are parents that can volunteer and that can show up at any time and interact with your children without your permission, without background checks or any safety monitoring. They spend most of their days with no structure and little supervision. I attended one of their field trips and it was extremely disorganized and confusing
