Konawaena Hugh school is an interesting school, it’s full of different cultures, of different people, and new people. This school is so diverse and full of life, it’s great! My only concern is that don’t have the best faculty, we have teachers who dont always teach or don’t always care to help their students understand. Not only that, but the school is kind of a mess, the bathrooms are out of control and the school lunches are not that great either. I think that if those few things were improved, it would make Konawaena a better place and would help the students.

School culture and diversity are excellent, which is what you’d expect from Hawai’i. Lots of sports, clubs, and activities for you to choose from. And, the teachers really care about your education!
Parent & community involvement in school activities make students feel important/valued and eager to participate! I played football & baseball for 3 years and saw that alumni always showed up to games to cheer us on. Teachers reach out regularly to parents by email to keep them posted on student progress or offer advice for improvement.
