Kofa takes great pride in their CTE (Career Technical Education) programs. I am involved in digital photography and have gotten to work with equipment and improve my skills to better succeed in my future career. All CTE teachers are well trained and provide help to lead you in the right direction. A change I would like to see happen at Kofa has to do with the overall attention towards student academics. Most students excel at their elective classes but struggle with academics. The average reading level of Kofa is at a fourth-grade level, that's absolutely horrible considering this is high school. The school is focused on its public image so they allow kids to graduate without them actually solving the crisis of kids who can't read.

My experience at Kofa High School was great! All my 4 years, I had really great teachers. They all taught me something very important, which is to never give up on my dreams, no matter how hard it gets through the years. I had a really great time attending at Kofa! Now, that this is my last year as a student, I am proud that I was involved in clubs that represented Kofa.
It is a large open campus, so you have to walk under the hot sun, but it is good exercise. Teachers are nice and friendly, and admin is great! Most of the students are friendly and helpful. School spirit could be better, but they are currently working on it. Overall, it is pretty cool.
