Kirtland Highschool is very diverse and outgoing. Many teachers like to teach hands on and with there personal experience. Which makes the lessons more fun because you get to understand how the lesson applies to reality. Also they have great clubs and electives. Although the food is kinds bad but thats okay because its free and of course there are pleanty of vending machines to choose from. Kirtland High is a great school, also they offer online like hybrid courses.
At Kirtland High School, I learned how to be myself. Everyone there was so friendly since day 1 and I never walked the halls without seeing a smiling face. The past 4 years here have been the best of my life so far because of the people I met. Whenever I needed help, I knew I could go to any guidance counselors, any teacher, or literally anyone else that could point me to the right direction. I'm so thankful to have grown up in a small town where everyone is friends with everyone and where we support each other.
I will admit it is a good high school for the education where teachers have the students as priorities, make sure everyone is college ready, and will motivate you to do your very best.
The only downside I had to my school is friendships always being broken, making the wrong friends as they turn their back on you later on and just so much drama involved. But guidance counselors and teachers are always there to comfort you and make you feel welcomed.
The only thing I would like to see a change in is diversity. Diversity is very low here so I'd like to see more people like me and others. To certain people they don't look at it like a big deal but it actually is to me along with others because representation matters.
Overall it is a good school and the best education I could ever ask for.
