Kirby is a well-rounded college-prep school with small class sizes and teachers that actually like teaching. I had two children go thru this school (my second is currently a sophomore) and would it recommend highly to anyone. Faculty and administration are responsive. Programs can be tailored to students and special classes (with enough interest) are possible! Their music program is unparalleled... including orchestra and choir. Theater, Art, Dance etc. What I appreciate most about this school is the relationships my kids have developed with the various teachers. *THIS* is what drives them. Thank you Kirby!

I have one daughter who is an alumna and another in 10th grade. Kirby has been a great choice for both of my girls, giving them plenty of intellectual challenge, welcoming learning environment, and wonderful team sport experience. Students have the option to tailor curriculums to serve their passion and interests, while completing requirements for graduation. I would highly recommend Kirby to anyone looking for excellent education in a positive and friendly learning environment.
As a parent, I love the Kirby culture and the critical thinking skills that are taught in every subject. The kids are inclusive and they care a lot about accepting everyone. I see the work my kids do in English, History, Science, etc. and it is excellent - college-level work. The teachers are exceptionally caring - it is about learning, not about testing. One of my favorite teachers lets the kids take their math tests over again - because the goal is to learn the material, not to learn how to take tests. I just can't say enough about how happy I am that my kids go to this school.
