This school has been absolutely amazing. I transferred to KIPP for my 5th grade year from Duval County public schools. Here at KIPP I feel like I matter, like my education matters! I am challenged and not held back on how far or fast I want to learn. We are pushed to strive for our best potential. The teachers take their time to make sure we fully understand what we are learning. We have many resources available to help us if we don't quite understand. They make sure we know college is possible for everyone. We have visited many local colleges and we walk the halls reminded of the great education that awaits our future. We also have band which is my favorite. I play the flute. Our band director is amazing and inspiring. We have electives that let us explore different activities from sports, to art, to language etc. I just hope that they can build a high school before I have to leave after 8th grade.

Lots of sports and electives offered. Walk n talk every day, so the kids are outside a lot. Kids love the PE teacher, he teaches step too!
The school is very well run and the principal has been there a while, so he really knows the families. He also listens to us, has breakfasts for us and they do parent universities. I also can call anyone there at any time and they get back to me quick.
