KIPP Heartwood Academy Reviews

Memories of this school is really bittersweet. If I had not gone to this school, college wouldn't have been my first priority. I wouldn't have learned that going to college is important, and I definitely wouldn't have the opportunities that I had in this school than in any other school. Field Trips are mainly made up of College tours to give students a variety of options, and the end of year field trips are superb. But the expectations they have for children might be a little too much. They have to remember that the kids that go here are 9-14 year old, and the things they do here could really end up traumatizing. They constantly shove in the idea of College like a huge slap to the kid's faces. Although I would like to thank the teachers and staff for sharpening me up to become the better student I am today, I can't help but feel that my anxiety developed because of them. One should consider this school if they're mentally prepared to be challenged, though.
