The thing about Kipp is that they push you harder than ever to maximize your academic potential. They realize that you come in at a lower level than their education but they flexibly work with students in order to catch up to the rest. One of the downsides to this is that students overwork themselves when they handle so much at once. These effects can include lots of detention, lots of absences, and many F's due to kids falling too behind in accumulated work. However, this school offers a KTC (Kipp Through College) program in which Juniors and Seniors start preparing for their future after high school. For Juniors, many reviews of colleges are reviews and many internships for interested careers are offered through the scholarly year. For seniors, everything that goes into applying to college such as personal statements, letters of recommendation, college applications, and scholarships are the main focus of the year.

It was an overall amazing school. The college counselors they provide the student are definitely helpful, they not only encourage students to reach their goals and dreams but also help them get through their challenges. I was able to graduate with a lot of support, the college counselors will stay with you all the way through high school and college.
KIPP Denver Collegiate High School is a really good school because of different things. Academically the school has AP for all which means that everyone has the possibility to take AP classes regardless of their academic level. In my opinion, everyone should have a chance to take AP classes in order to earn those credits. I also really like this High School because they have a program called to and through college. This program helps the students be prepared for college. Since junior year you have a counselor to help you with all the things that are college related. I would not rate it excellent because it does has small things that could be improved to make it better.
