KIPP Connect Middle School Reviews

Honestly, the program is excellent & makes learning more interesting in a sense that you’d want to get up in the morning every day to attend. The one thing that prevents KCMS from getting all 5 stars, is the lack of organization there is. 1- teachers leave every year, yeah that may be normal in other schools but for teachers to leave MID- YEAR ?! That shows a lot about the way KIPP TEXAS treats their employees. But the worse part is that it affects the kids and their learning. I know from experience, it happened once in 7th grade and about 3 times in 8th grade, and once in 9th. I was so used to the teaching of one teacher that by the time they left in January, I was lost. It wasn’t only me, every single student, even the straight A’s students, like myself, struggled and were assigned a permanent sub for the rest of the year. Overall, their way of teaching is really intriguing and allows many of us to connect to the material.

Honestly if you are looking to attend a school with opportunities this is school isn't it. This school has a lack of organization. In every other high school they give you at least some freedom. Here they treat you like babies and are always on top of you. I definitely don't recommend this school.
