The school concept is overall a great one. The leadership all sounds great however there's is a real lack of consistency and follow through within the entire staff. From the top down to the bottom. Folks are not held accountability for what they are meant to do. It goes across the board. I guess they are so focused on academic they neglect the social part of school. It needs work to be a higher level of professionalism. Lunch is ok not as healthy as it should be. The school grounds and interior are normally dirty not sure why. Always first year teachers without av teachers degree so it's a revolving door of 20 something yr olds who leave often high turnover since it's longer days, shorter breaks taxing work higher goals less pay so who can blame them. However it's better than public school. Our tax dollars are paying for it. I like the longer hours and shorter school calendar.

During orientation, the principal told us that parents and students have access to teachers after regular hours by email and text. We believe in holding a school accountable for our son's education, so we're keeping contact with them about his progress. Of course, our son has to do his part to learn the curriculum. This has been a good experience, especially compared to Lynn public schools. The public school was watering down the curriculum. When I looked online at the subjects that a typical 3rd or 4th grader was supposed to know (that's the grade my son was in at the time), that's when I realized how poorly the public schools were preparing him. The homework he was given was no where close to what he was expected to know. I was so disappointed. I ended up having to work with him myself after hours and during the weekends to help him learn what he wasn't taught. Thank God for the dedication of the teachers and staff.
Kipp was a great school! It focused very well on education and making sure students were doing well.
