Kingwood Park High School is one of the most organized and safe schools in the Humble Isd district. Known for their sports, interesting classes/clubs, and clean campus, it’s an excellent place for new freshman and transfer students to feel right at home in. I’m a junior at KPark High School and can say my experience has been nice since I’ve been here, I enjoy the classes, students, teachers, as well as contributing to my school with our daily newspapers. Kingwood Park High School also provides any assistance for students like counseling, college applications, mental health, etc.
I loved the atmosphere the new principal, Mr. Solomon is creating and the advocacy he has for the arts and the activities that had not been advocated for before. However, there are many things that I believe could make Kingwood Park better including more involvement with the student body, more advocacy and appreciation for activities that would not normally be accepted. More acceptance among students to other students, and most importantly more acceptance towards the special Education department and its students.
Kingwood Park High School is an amazing school! Teachers offer tutoring during a one hour lunch time and even offer to help out after school. There is so many clubs that everybody can join! Everyone is really nice and is always willing to help out the community. Our stuco team works really hard to make special events like prom and senior picnic super fun for us! When you're having a hard time in life, our counselors are always there to talk to you about anything and give you great advice. My teachers and friends have made my high school experience incredible and I will miss them all dearly! GO PARK!
