I like the emphasis on both academics and fine arts/extracurriculars. Both are very competitive and balanced to provide a well-rounded education for students. There are also many extracurricular activities available to provide experience and social groups for all students. These clubs take place during an hour long lunch, which allows students to fully utilize and take advantage of their time at school. Clubs like HOSA provide countless opportunities for leadership and character growth and have truly shaped who I am as a person. Finally, the atmosphere of the school is very lively and there is a place for every student.

Kingwood High School is an incredible product not only of a dedicated staff and high-attaining students, but an overall culture of success that gives each and every student the opportunity to get the individualized, effective help they need for the most prosperous learning and growth. Whether in the classroom, on a stage, a field, or any other activity, constant support from genuine, caring teachers and involved peers helps to upholster so many students in many of their pursuits. Thanks to the encouragement and involvement of the community at KHS, I have been inspired to join soccer, art, HOSA, and numerous honor societies. The impact that KHS has had on my life beyond the classroom has been instrumental in making me a more involved, high-reaching, and college-prepared individual.
Kingwood High School is an outstanding school that provides the best teachers and academic lessons for their students! As a senior at KHS, I feel confident in my education to make a smooth transition into college at Texas A&M next year. Kingwood High School flooded this past year (my senior year) and all the teachers, students, and administration worked so extremely well together in order to keep the KHS academic standing and spirit alive in such a tragic time. Truly a wonderful and happy place to be!
