Kingsley Montessori offers a unique vision of what education can be. While our programs change to meet the needs of our students, our values and core principles are enduring.
What happens in the ten years from age two to age twelve? During that Foundational Decade, a school can empower students to take ownership of their own learning and become learners for life. Inquiry-based learning, learning that is responsive to student interests and questions, creates empowerment. It combines choice with high expectations, and it encourages children to undertake new challenges.
Kingsley believes in connecting ideas, skills, and knowledge in new ways; thinking critically, collaboratively, and intelligently about your work. It’s about asking, not just answering, insightful questions. At Kingsley, we encourage students at every age to take responsibility for their own learning and learn by doing.
Early Childhood Programming
Kingsley provides an integrated, individualized, and challenging program that meets the changing developmental needs of the young child with independence, engagement in learning, and respect for others as core values. Kingsley provides a comprehensive core curriculum utilizing the Montessori method, which supports the individual child’s creativity, natural curiosity, and love of learning.

Kingsley Montessori School Reviews
She is now in second grade. She loves school because the lessons are just challenging enough because they are made for her. Every child has their own learning plan, rather than being forced to do work that is too easy or too hard as a group. The mixed age classrooms, which seemed unconventional are perfect for self-esteem and drive because kids aren’t labeled as gifted or challenged for their “grade.” She is encouraged to learn skills through her interests - currently the Titanic- which the teachers apply to math, science, reading, etc. Then, stands up in front of her class to shares what she learns - at SEVEN!
