I love this high school because I feel like I have made so many quality friendships, and the sports programs are amazing! This was my first year going there as I had just moved there, and I expected to be treated like more of an outsider. But most of the people that go there are nice and down-to-earth, so making friends was not a problem!
There are some teachers who go out of their way to help, and they deserve more recognition. However, if you don't go to Grace Church you will be nothing. They run the school, with members on the board and in the administration. The teachers aren't ever really fired, no matter how many policies they break. You also won't be taken seriously on a sports team if you don't go to the church. So you can hope that you get all of the good teachers and slide right through, or you'll have to make friends with the church kids so you can be seen. If you don't mind everyone being in your business, having god be a topic in your science class (and teachers that don't believe in evolution), or not being a favorite on a sports team, then KHS is for you!
Kingsburg High School is a great school. The teachers are very involved and are always there when they are needed. Even when they are not needed they are always sure to have a door open, so you can go and talk to them. You grow close to most of them because you see them every other day. There are so many classes and choices to choose from. There are also so many resources, like 2 gyms, a library with a green screen room, and a theater. Everyone knows each other because it's a small school. There is a group for everyone. Our campus is very safe because we have a security guard and multiple police officers around. Our town is small and safe, so during lunch, you can go off campus and get lunch. Even without a car, you can walk to multiple shops that are only a 2-5 minute walk away. Overall this is a great campus.
