The administration and staff/teacher were very helpful and beneficial to me. They all attended to the need of me and were very encouraging to me and helpful in getting me anything I needed to make sure I graduated on time and was able to focus during the school year. However, they also were always positive in helping and leading the kids to be success and help and respectful to the school and others around them. They teacher were very helpful in helping me fully understand anything and everything they taught. Also the guidance counselors were very helpful in assisting me with any problems I had with classes.

The school itself has a few issues. They say they have a lot of diversity, but the IB program and traditional programs themselves have very little diversity taken individually. The bathrooms never seem to have soap, and the classes that are supposed to be "rigorous" are not really different from any other. On the upside, there is very little homework and the clubs are very active, which is probably the only reason I go here.
In my experience so far at King, I do not find it to be an enjoyable, exceptional school for the main reason that it does not help foster a child's passion to learn. At King, what is basically silently grilled into its students is get through your pile of work, do more work outside of school, and essentially become a human machine of perfect academics, athletics, and extracurriculars. It is not an environment that shapes students to delve into their passions and makes them fear failure and inferiority to their other students because of the unhealthy amount of competitive drive.
