The King IB program is very successful in preparing students for the rigor of college academia. I do wish the IB students of King were not so isolated from the rest of the non IB students of King because it creates an atmosphere of unrest between us. I also wish the school could be slightly renovated; especially the bathrooms which are not kept to high standards as they often lack needed materials such as toilet paper and soap. However, I am glad that many of the teachers and administrators are encouraging and helpful to students who need assistance.

As a student of the IB Diploma Program at King High School, I felt that I have gained many useful traits towards my character. For instance, the competitive environment amongst classmates allows for students to be determined and persist in doing the best they can on an assignment or a class. Moreover, being surrounded by a plethora of young intelligent minds allows for one to build upon themselves and seek more knowledge and understanding of academics and the world surrounding us.
The teachers are amazing and are pretty chill. They care about the students and look for ways to make their teaching more fun and innovative. Sometimes they give a lot of work but that is probably because of the program I am in. However, the bathrooms are not in a good state. Before the pandemic started, their was a bathroom stall that didn't have a lock on it since January and wasn't repaired. There was also never really paper towels in most of the dispensers at King until the pandemic began. However, the school is very diverse and the teachers look out for the students.
