In my experience, Kimberly High School has been a great school to attend. The teachers are all very supportive, helpful and encouraging. The counselors and administration are also extremely helpful regarding to working with students who strive to pursue their associates degree in college while in high school. Without these opportunities, I would have never thought to become a Pharmacy Technician and have my Associates degree from CSI before I graduated. If there was one thing I had to change, I would improve the music program by having experienced teachers, the proper budget and opportunities for students who are interested in music. Approximately 1/3 of the school is enrolled in a music class, so I find that this improvement would make the school better.

I've been a student at Kimberly High School for 4 years and love the Kimberly School District environment. Though the school has its ups and downs, I would have to say that my experience has been mostly positive. The community is very close-knit and the Booster Club at Kimberly High is extremely helpful in both the school and community. Additionally, the school has a wide variety of dual credit, honors, and college opportunities for students to take advantage of. A science geek myself, I enjoyed the science atmosphere at the school and teachers like Mr. Glorfield (Junior English), Mrs. Hall (Guidance Counselor), Mrs. Naninni (Counselor), and Ms. Hendren (Agriculture) who made me feel important. A great school to go to with a community that cares.
Kimberly high school is very centered around sports. I’m in sports and I would like to see a change in the up coming years. Football especially gets all the attention. Our students that are in band, choir, arts, theatre, etc are very talented. They don’t get as much credit for the hard work that they put in compared to the sports.
On the academic side I would have to say is challenging. We don’t however have finals, so from that view it won’t prepare us for college. The classes that the high school are challenging and you have to put A LOT of work into them outside of school.
