Recently recognized as the sixth-best private high school in Georgia, Killian Hill Christian School, has been serving our community as an outreach of Killian Hill Baptist Church since 1972. KHCS is a fully accredited K-12 college-preparatory school servicing hundreds of students on a beautiful 27-acre campus. During my time at this school, I have learned so many things, not just academic, but also physical, mental, and spiritual. Seeing the relationship that the whole school has reminds me of a family. Everyone knows the other person, and we all are always ready to pray or help out if someone needs any assistance or support. The teachers are hands on, and find creative ways to teach without boring the students, and create a strong bond that allows them to be like our mentors. I believe that my school is doing well in academics, with high test scores, and in fine arts, going to national competitions. Our school could work on its diversity, and bringing more cultures and peoples in to allow for a better experience as a whole.

I love Killian Hill. This place is amazing! I'm an international student, and since the first day I came here, everyone has been so friendly and sweet to me. The atmosphere makes me feel like home, like family. I met many amazing people here. The teachers are dedicated. All teachers are trained to keep the students' safety in any situation. There are many activities and cultures in the school that I can learn from. I love it!

I am in the graduating class of 2020 and have attended KH since the 2nd grade. It has been heartbreaking to find out the rest of my schoolyear was cancelled due to COVID-19--because of both the wonderful events my school had planned for my class and the fact that I love my school, and now precious moments there have been taken away. I consider Killian Hill a second home. My teachers are more than academic instructors--they are mentors and true friends. They care about my well-being, not just my grades. However, they also push me academically--Killian Hill is a challenge. I do think it would be beneficial in coming years to alleviate the load of junior year by moving some courses around. I have incredible opportunities at KH in fine arts, sports, academics, and interpersonal mentoring all with a Christ-centered focus that all have shaped me into who I am today. I would not be who I am today without a school like KHCS, and I am forever thankful to God for its influence on me.
