I would love to see a modification in most of my school’s faculty member’s teaching strategies . There is definitely room for improvement on their lesson plans and tactics. Some teachers do not go over every example that relates to the subject that they demonstrate at the time, a sustainable amount of times. This greatly affects the amount of knowledge that every individual attending this institution, obtains from the experience. As a result, the students who do not have the same consciousness as others on that matter will feel mentally and physically left out. Unfortunately, I have experienced this occurrence. In some situations I feel as though I am teaching myself.

The teachers were awesome. I participated on the IB program and although the curriculum is rigorous, they were very supportive of students. Being a military child, traveling to new schools every 2-3 years, this has been a difficult and challenging two years to complete High School. The teachers took the time and offered additional resources to ensure my success. I’m graduating 9th out of 444 students, that’s the top 2%. I’m excited to move on to the University if North Florida in the fall.
My experience with Killeen High school is alright to say the least. There are days that I am really proud to be apart of my school, but there are also many days that I regret ever thinking that. The teachers here do try to help the students and I truly respect the teachers and staff that help me, but there are also teacher who seem like they aren't supposed to teach. Some of those teachers are the ones I have problems with. I understand that teaching is a difficult task, but it is even more difficult for students to learn if the teacher cant even teach their own subject. It sometimes gets frustrating dealing with someone who doesn't even know what they are doing when they start class. I would like to see these select few teachers actually help students pass the class instead of giving students online assignments that barely relate to the class subject. I apologize for ranting, but I really do feel strongly about teachers who actually want to their job instead of just showing up.
