Within Khalil Gibran there are some ups and down with it. The teachers there really help and support you with anything that you really need for college. They are also among the few schools in the Brooklyn area who have an International Baccalaureate program and support the diploma for it as well. However the school is going under renovations and it is not very large. It also does not have a full gym or auditorium so it can be a hit or miss for students.
I liked the diversity and the student to faculty ratio. Teachers staff are able to connect and understand their students due to a small school size.
I just graduated this year, and know I will miss this school sooo much. Teachers give advices, helps students adopt to activities, subject, etc with a smile on their faces. Also the administration office is in a very good touch with parents of students in order to keep them on track for everything. Technology is used in mostly everything. Parents and students can view Report cards online as well as they are emailed to their homes. If you would like to place your child in a safe school that would feel like a family, choose Khalil Gibran!!!!!!!
The teachers are incredible. It is a safe environment for anyone of any Race, sexuality and religion.
Khalil Gibran International Academy is a very diverse and divergent division. I have to say my parents made a good choice choosing this school for me. I am learning so much about myself; I don't think i would have experienced anywhere else. Academic and College Ready wise, staff members and students are always there to help each other out. My many school offers so many resources, which encourage me more to be apart of the department. Students don't realize how much they have nowadays. All they have to do is try.
The academic is great, the school offers alot!
The extracurricular opportunities are non-profit organization which I plan on being apart of next school year. The level of commitment for different clubs is a 1. After school activities: N/A
Well, my overall experience is okay. I love all my academic and social classes. What makes this school unique is that it's the only school that as 85% population of Arabic students. It's really rare in New York City, so it's pretty interesting. If I could do it all, I wouldn't choose my school again. The reason is that the school environment doesn't necessarily fit me as a person. I feel as if I would belong in a more artistic school than ever.
The teachers in my school have shown the greatest amount of initiative by far. They stay after school & guide you through everything you need and more. I am appreciative, thanks to my Chemistry teacher I passed the regents.
I feel safe at this school. Very small so not many bad things happened.
all of the tachers genuinleuty care about their students and try there best the make work understandable.
Not many class options, but great teachers!
I always feel safe in my school.
Teachers were great. There were not many clubs.
