I am entering my senior year and there is no other high school I would rather be than Keystone. The motto of "academic excellence" is embodied by every aspect of Keystone, with dedicated students and useful teachers determined to learn in the best way possible. More than anything else, my Keystone education has taught me to be a free thinker while still respecting others, allowing me to form my own opinions and look at situations objectively. While the school is inherently challenging, the overall experience is definitely worth it, preparing young adults not only for college but also giving them the tools to be successful and caring members of society.

When I entered as a freshman, there were many people that offered their support. It was wonderful to be in a small community who just wanted me to succeed, even as I was pursuing a career in the arts, which was not a highly developed program when I entered school. I received academic preparation for higher education and formed a close relationship with the growing art department. I am so grateful for teachers who were supportive in my pursuit of art education and worked with me to build upon their program for future lovers of the arts. With their support and through trial and error, I was able to be the first Keystone student to submit an AP Art portfolio and enter in the VASE competition, winning awards in both programs. Keystone allowed me to grow and challenge myself and those around me.
Keystone is an amazing school with incredible teachers and academics. I feel completely prepared to take on college having had the experience and nurturing I've had. Thanks, Keystone!
