Keystone School is truly a haven for students who want to learn. This is evident in the classrooms where the students concentrate on their work as they diligently review materials, ask challenging questions, and participate in the frequent in-class discussions. However, Keystone should improve its effort in preparing students for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. As a student of this school, I truly appreciate the teacher’s efforts in making sure the students grasp and understand concepts rather than participate in tedious memorization techniques. On the other hand, I have found that we as students often go on miniature “scavenger hunts” every year to find the best sources of aid when it comes time to study for these exams. Therefore, Keystone should establish a way in which students can stay engaged in class while also preparing diligently for college exams.

Excellent school overall. Great academics, mostly great teachers, mostly kind and motivated classmates. Only "negative" and it's not really one is that for kids transferring into the school in middle or upper school, it is a rather brutal transition. Most classes here are at least 1 grade year ahead of public and some private schools. My kids were both in good private schools beforehand. They got all As there. Now they are getting Bs and Cs with some As. But I've seen a lot of improvement in their grades from one quarter to the next so am confident that this will further improve over time. Homework is daily and it is not just a lot but it is qualitatively harder than what my kids have seen before. But this is exactly what college prep is supposed to be. It's hard work but doable if students are organized, committed to working late at times and the parents are 100% on board. Sports are ok, extracurriculars are ok. The focus is on academics here.
    Great school!
Excellent acedemics, and inclusive to everyone. Tuition isn’t the cheapest but it evens out with the outstanding education and wonderful students and teachers.
