Small school setting with a stunning campus incomparable to any in the area, even the large public schools. Small student to teacher ratio; each teacher knows the student by name and has personal relations. Principal and superintendent greet each student by the door by name every morning. Very knowledgeable, caring instructors. Most students here want to succeed; they do not slack off and almost all are college bound. Cons are small sports teams in low divisions, small dating and social circles. Also not very diverse; nearly all students are white upper-middle class, with a few international Korean children sprinkled in. However, very little to no special ED assistance. Overall, a student attending will most certainly be ready for college with a much higher ACT score on average than the rest of the state or country.
Review Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School
I really enjoyed going to Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. I liked the small class sizes, the fact that teachers knew you by name, and that many of us all shared the same faith. However some things could be changed. There was not a lot of diversity at my school for starters, and I wish there was more. Secondly we don't have a lot of foreign languages, sports, and clubs offered at KML either. As far as college readiness, I think Kettle does a fairly well job, if you can handle the courses. Some students are ready to move into advanced math or science classes, causing them to fall in between. All in all Kettle was a good school, but there is room from improvement.
I have gone to KML since I was a freshman. Overall, it is a great school! It was really great to learn in such a wonderful Christian environment. The teachers and very helpful and always put education first and everyone is very kind! I would highly recommend sending your kids to KML!
