Ketchum High School Reviews
Rating 3.22 out of 5 9 reviews
Really good for a small school, making a lot of progress lately. Many opourtunities through local vocational school and colleges.
I'd like to see less of an emphasis on sports and more on studies. A lot of the math teachers that were also coaches taught in a way that made it hard to retain. The English and Science teachers had classes that were easy to remember. The Art teacher tries but overall has a lackluster class. It feels like learning art history for kindergarteners more than a class to improve art skills. They are doing better by giving the students Chromebooks, and the new principal and counselor try to keep connected to the students. There is a robotics club, FFA chapter, Leo's, honor society, and concurrent classes for all of those interested.
Ketchum high school is a very nice school with kind teachers that you can talk to any time you need too. The place is just underfunded and can’t have all the new technologies like bigger schools
