There have been some excellent teachers at the high school who have left because of discipline issues, disrespect, etc. Most classes are fairly standard; unfortunately, some really great classes do not emphasize quality student instruction and rely on word searches, worksheets, etc. BORING!

I really enjoyed having the opportunity to take early college classes as duel credit classes. I believe these college classes gave me a taste of how real college is. I had to keep up with my other six class periods and my college work. It was great opportunity, I really appreciated it. I would also like to see more school spirit in the school. Everyone just seems to be down all the time instead of having a good time at school. The school needs something exciting.
My experience at Kermit high school was one bad experience after another. Some of the teachers employed there were not even qualified to teach the subject that they taught not to mention the in effective curriculum that was taught there.
