We joined the Kwoods family two years ago after moving from a Christian school where our son finished 9th grade. Kaleb has been pushed and challenged but in a way that isn’t overwhelming or that makes him feel inadequate. He is able to learn in a variety of ways that excite and stimulate his creativity and problem solving skills. He is also able to express himself authentically and is accepted-with the families and kids accepting and encouraging each child’s individuality. The acedemic standards are high, the expectations attainable and the efforts encouraged and supported. I can’t say enough good about this school. We are believers that there is a school out there that is able to meet our sons learning abilities and strengths while helping become a much more artistic, compassionate, forward thinking and settled individual. We love Kwoods!

We just finished our first year at this school and absolutely loved it. After years of homeschooling I was afraid that my son would struggle returning to a school environment but he absolutely excelled, far beyond what I could have imagined. The teachers here are amazing, going the extra mile for their students, encouraging them as they progress and pushing them to grow. The small school size is such a bonus as it makes it much harder for kids to get lost in the shuffle of the day. I would highly recommend this school to everyone and fully intend to send all my kids here as they get older!
Kensington Woods is awesome! This is my fifth year at Kwoods (I started in sixth grade) and every year I'm thankful for the amazing community that I'm surrounded by. This school is like a family to me. I love how I can know every person's name and they know mine too. This makes it really easy to get involved, make new friendships, and learn that I might be interested in some things that I may not have tried at a big, public school. I know each teacher personally and I know that I can ask them for help anytime if I need it.
