Honestly, enroll anywhere else. While I have had good experiences and teachers at KHHS, the hassle of dealing with the administration isn't worth your time. There are exactly 11 AP classes available (Calculus AB & BC, French, Spanish, Bio, Chem, APUSH, US Government, Psychology, English Literature, and English Language), and very few teachers/administrative actually put the students & their well-being first, as they constantly claim to do; most teachers just do it for the paycheck. There's only one female counselor, and good luck getting an appointment to see her unless you're a "high risk" student. The administration is uncooperative, hypocritical of their own rules, and overall just stress-inducing. There's a serious drug/vaping problem, and it's so bad that at sporting events (except football, the golden child of the athletic department), they call us "School of Juul".

I absolutely loved the teachers at Kenowa Hills, they were always there and incredibly kind. They went out of their way to be approachable and they were understanding and supportive of not just me, but all their students. The teachers knew their material well and taught it in a comprehensible way. That being said, the students were less than motivated and kind, admittedly not the school 's fault. Additionally tech support options for the chromebooks required to do school work was often lacking. Finally, the school's grounds tended to be quite littered with garbage and discarded food. In spite of its flaws, the school had a sufficient environment and taught me well.
I have been attending Kenowa Hills since 2013 and it has been a very good experience! The school really has a vast amount of diversity when it comes to culture and so it helps make it a very welcoming environment where everyone can find something that they connect with and get involved! One thing that could use some changing is the amount of electives offered, compared to other schools in the area, Kenowa's electives are not as open and have limited options to choose from.
