I have been attending Kenowa Hills since 2013 and it has been a very good experience! The school really has a vast amount of diversity when it comes to culture and so it helps make it a very welcoming environment where everyone can find something that they connect with and get involved! One thing that could use some changing is the amount of electives offered, compared to other schools in the area, Kenowa's electives are not as open and have limited options to choose from.

The teachers are very hands on and will go out of their way to help a student, even staying after school to ensure students understand the material. Also the counselors will do anything in their power to help a student find classes that will enhance their future career choice. All the staff members go above and beyond for their school and students, it’s a amazing atmosphere with tons of school spirit!
There are many aspects of Kenowa Hills that I enjoy, such as the rigorous AP classes, sports programs, and overall student body involvement. The students at the school are generally very nice, while at the same time being great people with great personalities. The switch to a Public school was an aspect that I was initially uncertain about, however, I couldn't imagine attending a different school with everything I have learned through my 4 years of high school. The school lunches are very bad and almost never nutritional, as every meal comes with tater tots and there are few healthy alternatives. Overall my experience has been overall positive at Kenowa and I would recommend this high school to those that are looking for positive environments to learn and grow in.
