Kennewick High School is known throughout the area for its diversity and culture! It has many clubs and extracurricular activities available for students to participate in. It's International Baccalaureate program has aided in the education of countless students over the years, including me. It exceeds academically and our sports programs do decently well every year against other state competitors. The only thing needs to change is parent involvement. Many students come from rather poor demographic areas and their parents are too busy working to help volunteer at the school, so many club or sports activities are not as supported by the community as they could be.

Kennewick High School has such an inviting atmosphere that is great for students! The teachers are very helpful when it comes to student learning, they go out of their way to give them the best education possible. During my three years at Kennewick High School I made many memories at school, with friends and teachers. The available programs and clubs are perfect for students. There is great diversity in the school that allows students to learn more about different cultures. There are many after school clubs. Counselors are very supportive and helpful when it comes to college preparations. I highly recommend Kennewick High School.
Overall, I feel my experience at Kennewick High has been good. I learned during my sophomore year that I am highly interested in sports medicine and considered this as a future career. At my first career counseling session during sophomore year, I was happy to learn that I would be able to take the digital arts and filming program at Tri-Tech and earn college credits during my junior and senior years. Taking this course has allowed me to find a passion in graphic design, one that i will use to further my education in. The school has many counselors available to help students find their future path. This may be the school's strongest quality.
