Kennett High School has a diverse population that is culturally enriching. The teachers are amazing and they deeply care about the school spirit and the students. I have seen this first hand by teachers volunteering their time to be the overseer of clubs because of how much they care about creating a community with a wide range of activities for students to pursue their interests. For me, I have found the greatest joy in the robotics club at KHS as it is a student led club with a lot of learning new skills, problem solving, and communication that mimics the real workplace in many ways. This club has been the most influential to me because everyone on the team cares about the success of the group. When a large group unites like that, amazing things happen, like going to the world level competition! In brief, KHS is a fabulous school with many opportunities to explore your passions, and it also creates a community among students, teachers, and administration that is unique and caring.

The high school is a nice building. I think counselors need to give more resources to their students for the college route(scholarships and common app instruction) and non-college route(trade school and financial literacy). Administrators need to communicate with their students more. Coronavirus exploited some weak points in communication. Some teachers seem like they are only there to get paid and some clearly love their job and watching their students grow. Large Hispanic population in Kennett, but very poor integration of different races and cultures. Do not go to Kennett if you are looking to go pro in ANY sport, they are horrible. We surprisingly do have a really good music and arts program though.
The staff at Kennett High School has worked hard to promote diversity. Our population is about 40% of color. This is unlike any school in the area but the building is a place of inclusion for everyone. We have numerous clubs like: Unidad and Hermanitas that are aimed as supporting the latina community. Our school has a vibrant diversity council, and a club called "Thumbs Up Funs Up" that invites different clubs to fun events as a way for students to meet people they wouldn't normally interact with. As one of a handful of South Asians I am proud to be a part of such a diverse community that I know will prepare me for the real world. Also, students at Kennett tend to try many extracurriculars instead of sticking to one thing. There are football players in our marching band, students in earth club and STEM team. I believe this is because of not only a wide variety of activities offered, but also because of teachers and coaches who have inspired students to experience new things.
