The school is very nice as a result of being so new, and there is a decent variety of classes. Unfortunately I felt that many of the teachers were inadequate, some teachers were great, but that didn't entirely make up for the number of teachers that seemed to hate their job and every single one of their students. I would by no means call it a bad school, just not an exceptionally pleasant one either. Probably the best option available in Reno, at least based on my understanding, it is perfectly adequate, just make sure, like at any school, that if you have a problem that you contact administration, nothing is going to change for the better if they aren't aware that it's a problem.

When Mrs. Annand left to retire, the climate at the school changed for the worse. A bunch of great staff left and over a few years, even more left. There are still some fantastic staff left, despite the moral with the new administration.
I think it is sad.
Depoali is probably the nicest middle school in all of Northern Nevada in terms of the facilities. The teachers are wonderful. There's a pretty good selection of classes for a middle school, although some more higher-level courses (such as geometry) would've been great.
