Kenai Central High School is an amazing school in Alaska with the very best teachers! I have had an amazing three years there so far and I can't wait to start my senior year in a few weeks! Students and teachers alike have such great attitudes and everyone truly cares about one another. I have always been encouraged as both a student and an athlete, and I couldn't be more thankful to be a part of KCHS! I am excited to start applying to colleges this fall because I know I am prepared. Go Kards!

There are many great things you could say about Kenai Central High. The teachers are amazing, they will do everything they can to help you achieve anything and everything you're going for. Kenai has a very school spirited group of kids. Whenever there's a home volleyball game the bleachers will be full of students covered in paint cheering as loud as they possibly can and dancing around. All of the teaching staff and principals and everything want you to do the best you possibly can and they do everything they can to help you achieve your goals and everyone appreciates that so much. I love going to Kenai!
KCHS is a small school, so any activity that happens is a big deal. The downside of that is that if not enough people care, the event goes completely unnoticed. Since KCHS is so small, it also is underfunded and you can tell by the fact that some classrooms are blazing hot while some are always freezing. Almost all of the long-standing teachers are amazing, not only at teaching, but also as mentors in general. However, since the budget cuts hit our school hard, it's hard to feel comfortable with the newer staff and morale is lower than it needs to be for staff and faculty.
