Something I like about KJSHS is how small it is. If you have a problem you know somebody you can go to. Its such a small school everyone knows everyone. It adds a comfy feeling. Soemthing I would change is to try and add something a little special during the long school days. Im not just saying that we need to have free time, and just have no homwwork. But maybe we could just add a little time to talk, and go over some problems we have. Maybe just a break to de-clutter our minds. Other than that we will always have our little problems, but so far its been pretty good.
My experience has been one for the books. The teachers are amazing, they always will help you in and outside of class if need be, their attitudes are amazing and the make the classroom a fun learning environment. The only thing I would like to see change is the recognition of other activities. In my little town sports are the golden standard, if you aren't active in one than nobody really cares what your good at. I would love to see the arts department and band and choir, get as much recognition as the sports! Those kids have so much potential and so much they can accomplish.
Kemmerer has been a very interesting experience. I have been in all the shop classes, and the teachers are amazing. There building is excellent, because the building is at least 5 years old. The school administration has helped us as students the be able to give us the things that we need in the class rooms to help us thrive as students. The school is super safe. I as a senior that has been in this building for 6 years, i have never felt unsafe in this building. Kemmerer Jr/Sr high school has been a great school to attend.
