Very good school! Would like some AP classes, but it's good overall. Very nice and friendly staff. Some students are racist and I feel like the school needs to explain that racism isn't okay.
I love the family feel. I found the teachers to really care about the students. They were very welcoming and really made our time with the school enjoyable.
Kellenberg was the best possible decision I could have made for high school. It was a great education academically and spiritually. The faculty and administration are not just approachable, but encourage connection. I feel like every teacher I have had throughout my 4 years wouldn't want to be doing anything else but teaching, anywhere but Kellenberg. It feels to my friends and me that our education and our personal development is the most important initiative to everyone (teachers, coaches, administrators)at Kellenberg. If I could do it all over, I would only choose Kellenberg Memorial High School because I have grown academically, spiritually and socially, having made friends that I know will be lifelong.
Wonderful experience with entire staff concerned about both educating and caring about spiritual growth of students. An inexplainable sense of belonging.
Kellenberg has really shaped me into the person that I am today. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and they help you understand everything. They really prepare you for the future. The sports and activities that they provide are such a big part of the school community, and you make so many friends just by getting involved. There is always someone at Kellenberg that has the same interests as you.
The building is nice, and just got new classrooms and lockers with a entire new parking lot more athletic fields. The teachers are generally ok with some good and passionate ones followed by lesser ones. Academics are alright to poor. Poor as in if you don't try you just don't learn anything and get nothing out of it. Alright being there no ap classes, but there some dual enrollment classes. Foods also bad.
Kellenberg became my home away from home! My teachers were enthusiastic about teaching and were always there to help when I needed it or even just chat. The amount of extracurricular offered is unbelievable. There was never a day I didn't stay at school until 5:30, sometimes even later. Kellenberg provides a community perfectly structured to help students grow into well-rounded individuals.
Throughout my time in Kellenberg Memorial High School I thoroughly enjoyed how involved every student is, both in academics and in extra curricular activities. That spirit encouraged a former “leave-as-soon-as-I-can” student to become involved in over 7 clubs! I love this school, and you will, too!
Both the Latin School (grades 6-8) and the High School are exceptional academic experiences for your son or daughter with many of the teachers being former Kellenberg Memorial HS students themselves in their youth.
I’ve met very good friends and most of the teachers are tolerable and fun to be around.
The school is not really racially diverse.

Kellenberg Memorial High School is a great environment for students, staff, facility, and families. Kellenberg is an amazing school that provides so many students to get involved. The staff and teachers at Kellenberg are so encouraging and supportive of the students and so as much as possible to help students succeed.
I graduated in 2016. STEM classes were not the best, and there weren't many STEM-related clubs. I've heard that they have improved in recent years though. The school lacks in diversity. Otherwise, classes were okay, and the clubs/sports were good.
A great school with excellent teachers. My senior year was one of the best experiences of my life. Joining the EMT club and starting my journey to the healthcare industry impacted me immensely. I made life long friend with students and teachers.
This school is beautiful and filled with animals ranging from coy fish and peacocks to dogs and turtles. Although the schools structure is gorgeous, and it is a good opportunity for students to be noticed by colleges,Kellenberg offers no IB or AP classes. It is not diverse whatsoever and students of color may have a hard time navigating through the years.
The food is not all that great and has made me sick a couple times. There has been quite a few incidents with white students committing racist acts towards minorities. The guidance office is pretty good though.
Kellenberg Memorial is an amazing school. The academics are difficult but rewarding and the teachers are amazing and very helpful. The school has some of the best athletic programs along with an impressive and ever growing list of extracurriculars. However the school does not allow for electives until senior year and even then the choices are limited. I experienced the best four years of my life here!
This school has so much to offer every child Great academics as well as spiritual guidance. There isn’t a public school on Long Island that offers what kellenberg has
