Kehillah Jewish High School is an interesting school that offers great academics to everyone that studies there. The teachers care about their students and want them to succeed. Most importantly, Kehillah offers opportunities for leadership in clubs, student government, sports, and many more areas. A great place to expand your horizons while studying at a high level.

Alum here. Kehillah's rigorous academic program overprepared me for college. There are many resources accessible to students to help them succeed. While many students would call it "Kehillah Jewish Day Care," one's education is what you make of it. I took advantage of all available resources, got a 2020 on my SAT, and got into all colleges I applied to. Diversity was on the low end while there, but they've taken strides to diversify the student body. While parent involvement is wonderful for the most part, the fact that parents were on the board while I was there often interfered with the administration's ability to mete out appropriate punishments - especially when students whose parents were on the board needed to be disciplined. I hope this has changed. Teachers while I was there were generally great with a few exceptions, but the teachers who weren't so great no longer teach there and have been replaced with competent teachers.
I had never been to a Jewish school before coming to Kehillah and I loved every minute of my experience, until recently. Kehillah is extremely small (my grade is 44 people) and the entire school is around 230 students. As Kehillah has been growing, they have been getting so worried about "their image" and getting stricter with the students. They used to emphasize trust between the students and the administration, that's what made the place so special, but ever since the school got a bit bigger, they cut off that relationship and stopped letting the students, such as student government, put on events or spirit activities.
