Kearny SCT is an amazing school. The teachers are very nice, kind, and helpful. If you get lucky, some are very funny, too! Also, it is quite challenging and competitive to be in this school because everyone is very brilliant and the classes are not that easy. But a little challenge helps prepare us for the tougher "real world" after high school, which is really beneficial.

My experience at Kearny was average. I liked the people I made friends with and the teachers I had, but the overall experience wasn’t the best. The lack of school spirit and the division of 4 separate schools that Kearny had was what made me not happy about going to school everyday. Although I liked that our school was very diverse and had students of each ethnicity. But our school was too strict with the dress code and student safety as well. We were forced to wear lanyards around our neck every single day.
My experience at Kearny SCT is only a good one. I am currently halfway through my junior year here and I absolutely love it. All of the staff is amazing and really take their time to help us, students. I really like the integrate way of learning between our science classes and English. I have learned so much in all of my electives, including Human Body Systems. The dances I have attended have also been really fun and worthwhile. I have made awesome connections because of our linked learning projects and have had the opportunity to win the CCTE Showcase.
