Kavod Charter School Reviews

Most of the teachers are nice. The school is not diverse. Most of the children are Jewish. It's a good school if you want your kids to learn Hebrew, otherwise it's probably best to attend the public school system. The education average, the strong survives and the weak gets left behind which is typical in the public school system. There are no clubs or activities. No sports either. The facility is cleaned.
Kavod has been the best education decision we have made with our kids. They instill a love for learning, rather than repeat until you "learn" a concept, no homework policy, excellent teachers and staff, a phenomenal Executive Director. We love the diversity and the small community feel. As a plus, its bilingual!
We are thrilled with our choice to send our children to Kavod. This is our third year, and we now have two students at the school We really wanted a charter school for them. A smaller school, with a more diversified curriculum and community was extremely important to us. Kavod offers that and so much more.
We love the staff and teachers! Kavod has a Hebrew emerged program for all kids. My kids were not familiar with the language and now they can speak a little Hebrew in only a year. The regular classes are well taught and advanced without putting too much pressure on the kids. Small classrooms and soon they will teach a third language!
The BEST OF THE BEST educational enrichment program in San Diego! For three years, Kavod has been a second family to our son. With their hands on approach, the seasoned administration and staff have armored our son with knowledge, character, social skills, and self-esteem that has spring boarded him towards his current and future success.
