I loved the school spirt at Taylor, everyone had a great amount of school spirit. This was most displayed in the men's basketball in which we were called the mustang MOB, one of the loudest cheering crowds in the district whether winning or losing. It was also brought out with fall football, the common phrase was MFND or mustang fight never dies which many students graduated with in their hearts. There were some great teachers at Taylor, but there were some others that didn't make an effort to make their classroom welcoming to the students and made their favoritism too obvious. Overall, Katy Taylor was a great school to attend.

Upon entering freshman year, the community within the school is apparent. There were lots of upperclassmen who worked to help their younger counterparts. As I progressed through the years, I have learned how to self-learn for many classes as there are many teachers who fail to completely teach a subject. However, the competition within the school reigns high so it helped to motivate me to improve my grades. I was able to join lots of clubs and organizations as well.
I really enjoyed my experience at Taylor. I was easily able to make a good group of friends there. All of the activities and clubs are really fun. I participated mainly in soccer, art, and National Art Honor Society. I was very comfortable at Taylor considering how big the school is. Also, the teacher's are really great, each year I was more and more interested in the lessons because of how they teach. Everyone is very open and approachable I was never nervous to go talk to a student or a teacher.
