I enjoyed being at Taylor for 4 years. Being on the basketball, I got to experience what most would say high-school glory when it comes to sports. Having fellow students and friends coming to games to cheer you on is something special. Other than that, I enjoyed being able to spend my 4 years learning with other kids and developing some life long friends that I will keep in contact with well beyond college. The relationships created with other students, teammates, teachers, and coaches, is what I will miss most about Taylor. Seeing other kids I went to elementary school with growing up alongside me is really something special, heart warming and heart breaking at the same time as we all depart on our individual ways. Taylor High School will always have a special place in my heart.

Overall, Taylor High school is a very inclusive school. There are many opportunities for students to become invested in the school community; like clubs, sports, and student organizations. The faculty is really supportive of their students and do their best to help out a student academically. Not to mention the how well Taylor High school prepares their students for college, by offering a wide range of AP classes and presenting dual credit courses (at no charge) at Taylor High school itself. My high school experience so far has been amazing, I truly feel prepared for college and cannot wait to be a Taylor High school senior this upcoming school year.
did not enjoy attending Taylor at all!!!! I transferred to Taylor my sophomore year and the first interaction was with a student that wanted to know which drugs I liked. The combination of wreckless kids with money, nice cars and drug habits is toxic. Be prepared to have a lot of homework and do twice the amount of work than other high schools. There are many cliques and unfortunately you have to be in one or else you won't have any friends. The counselors are totally useless and their advice for college consists of putting you in front of a computer or telling you that some people "just aren't cut out for college". The favoritism by teachers and the staff for students that have wealthy parents is painfully obvious. It's an extremely snobby, judgmental and wealthy school. Be prepared to be segregated by the amount of money your parents have, the house you live in or the car you drive.
