Honestly, I loved Taylor High School. The teachers and my classmates helped shape me into the person I am today. The teachers are wonderful. The administration did a great job with hiring their staff. It's obvious they really care about their students. The school itself is wonderful. It's not too big, but not too small. It's just right. That way you can build a better relationship with your teachers and principals. The school had a lot of clubs that I enjoyed, especially American Sign Language. I found out what I wanted to do for my future career in that club! I have many things to be thankful for from my years at Taylor, but it would take you hours to read that. My experiences and all that I've learned cannot be fit onto just one page. I loved my years at Taylor high school and I wouldn't change a thing. Of course I made mistakes, but I've learned from them and I've grown.

Katy Taylor High School has no tolerance for bullying or harassment. If students feel unsafe, administration is told immediately and measures are put in place to assure student safety. Student-Administration communication is very well established, and students are not afraid to talk with their teachers. Academic success is a priority and all else comes after; sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities included. However, Taylor has a problem with Electronic cigarettes or "vapes". The Administration knows this, but the problem is so big there's not really mush they can do other than confiscate them on sight.
I've been attending Taylor for a while now, and this year will be my last here as a senior. Honestly, I entered high school with a negative mindset because of all the horror stories I'd been told, but you kind of just grow into everything. Sure, Taylor's layout is super confusing at first, and the atmosphere is not exactly the most pleasant (some areas of the school have weird smells), but, and I'm sure many students would agree with me on this, we all just came to accept and sometimes even like our school. Overall, Taylor is a 4/5. There are teachers here who really care about their students and there are also students here who really care about their teachers. Definitely one of the better high schools in Katy ISD.
