Katy High School was very fun while I attended there in all four years. The football spirit was always there and thats what made Katy High School alive. The teachers were nice and cared about there students. The extracurricular activities are very active in this school. I joined track and field during my Freshman and Sophomore year. It was a great and rememberable experience. One of my favorite memories of Katy High School was when I was enrolled in APES and all the students were taken to the Houston Zoo for a project/trip at the end of the year and that was really fun. Im glad I went to Katy High School because of its remarkable tradition it has and is widely known in the Katy Isd District. Go Tigers!

Katy High School has an atmosphere like no other. With a whole town backing the school and every activity associated with it, stating that we have school pride is an understatement. There is something for every student, and support for everything. Our school is rated at the top in all aspects. Academically, the teachers are very helpful and do everything in their power to encourage and ensure that their students are prepared. As for what Katy is known for; sports. More specifically, our football team. With wonderful coaches like Coach Joseph, it is no wonder that Katy football has eight state championships and a national championship under its belt. Our athletic program is “built on tradition” and is truly supportive of the student aspect in student athletes. In conclusion, Katy High School is a well-rounded, all-inclusive school.
I am currently a senior at Katy High School. So far, it has been an overall nice experience, with nothing really bothering me too much in terms of the actually school. That doesn't mean that it does not have any room for improvement, because it definitely can. One area where the school could improve is in its academic focus. It is a pretty average school academically, and gets most of its recognition through its football program. However, that is about the only downside that I can think of with this school. The overall experience wasn't a bad one. The musical programs are pretty good, with our band going to state last year, and orchestra getting sweepstakes at the UIL competition. There are also plentiful clubs to join, as well as ease to start one if desired. The community is an overall a great experience.
