The music and arts/theater programs at KM high school were well-funded and greatly supported by the community. As well as our sports and academic teams. Most teachers here were the best I've ever worked with and they always treated us with respect. Our science, arts, math, and language programs were above and beyond those of the other schools in the surrounding area. The choir program has been going downhill there for the past few years, but the band program is amazing and growing with every graduating class of kids! Overall, I enjoyed my time at KM. It's not the most ethnically diverse school. Even so, I felt as if EVERYONE was treated the same and with great respect.
The facilities at Kasson-Mantorville Senior High School are remarkable.
In terms of student experience, there's a lot to get involved in. The school pushes to involve every student in something. The school boasts of its sports, but it also sponsors a robotics club, various community-based clubs, a business club, and a highly-funded drama department, alongside a variety of other activities. The drama department (of which I am forever a tech kid) produces four shows per school year. Thanks to the technology, facility, and community support we have available, we can produce high-quality shows with complex sets, costumes, and effects. The whole community really does pitch in, and the shows receive lots of love.
Something I would change is the level of disrespect students show at times, but the school does make an effort to teach valuable life lessons. Students receive preparation for life beyond graduation and many subjects are integrated into each class for a well-rounded education.

The teachers are very dedicated to helping you succeed. The school facilities are very nice. There are so many opportunities to become involved like clubs (like FCCLA, Christian group, SADD, and many more) and many sports. You will find what you are looking for: if you’re looking for trouble and other bad things, you’ll find them. However, if your looking for ways to become involved and to grow as a person, you’ll find it.
